What is the Cost of Tender documents?

The cost of Tender documents is determined by the approx. value of the Tender. Following is the structure being followed in this Railway:
Estimated Value	Cost of Tender
i) Rs.1.0 lakh to Rs.5.0 Lakhs	Rs.150/-
ii) Rs.5.0 Lakhs to Rs.15 Lakhs	Rs.500/-
iii) Rs.15 Lakhs to Rs.50 Lakhs	Rs.1000/-
iv) Above Rs.50 Lakhs	Rs.2000/-

Being situated outside Kolkata, how do I get the Tender Documents?

a) Downloaded tender documents along with the tender cost in form of D.D. drawn in favour of FA& CAO(S)/S.E.Rly/GRC may be sent to the COS Office.

b) Tender documents can be issued to outstation firms, if they send the tender cost in form of Money Order to COS Office well before the due date of opening.

Where do I drop the tender?

The offers against the Limited/Bulletin tenders can be dropped before 12.00 hrs. in the appropriate daily tender box for the concerned due date of opening of the tender & the offers against the open tender can be dropped before 14.00 hrs. in the appropriate open tender box for the concerned due date of opening of the tender.

To whom, security deposit is to be deposited?

Security Money is to be deposited to the Chief Cashier, South Eastern Railway, Garden Reach, Kolkata – 700043 under head of Allocation " DEP: MISC: STORES". Or else, Demand Draft can be prepared in the name of Financial Adviser & Chief Accounts Officer and submitted along with the offer.

What is the time of opening of the Tender?

Times of opening of Tenders are as below:
For Bulletin/Limited Tenders, the closing time is 12.00 hrs., and these are opened at 12.15 hrs in presence of officials of the Railway. Representatives of the Firms are not allowed to attend to the opening of Limited & Bulletin Tender.
For Special Limited Tenders and Open/Advertised Tenders, the closing time is 14.00 hrs and these are opened at 14.15 hrs in presence of Stores & Accounts Officials. The authorised Representatives of the Firms can attend the opening of such tenders. No unauthorised persons are allowed to attend the tender opening.
