Sub: “NS Certification” on non-stock
requisitions by
Divisional Stores Officers.
Till now, “NS Certification” on
non-stock requisitions in Divisions of S.E.Rly were being done by KGP Depot.
With the availability of updated Stock Master (with dynamic query facilities)
in SERly Website (address- http:/10.41.2.6/hq/stores),
it has been decided that, henceforth, “NS Certification” on non-stock
requisitions in Divisions ( other than KGP) will be done by the respective
Divisional Stores Officers with the help of on line data. This can now be done
by comparing description given on NS requisitions of indentors with similar
description of stock items as available in the current & live Stock Master
published in website.
In this connection, it is mentioned
that, the above matter have been approved by FA&CAO(WS) and COS, subject to
following conditions.
1.
The latest (updated)
Stock Master will be made available in the website with address
http:/10.41.2.6/hq/stores and the same can be referred to by all the
Divisional/Depot Stores officers as well as Sr.DFM/DFMs of the Divisions. In
case, if it is ensured that the item falls under “Stock items” the latest stock
position of the required items will be collected from the KGP Stores Depot over
Telephone, the same will be recorded and singned by the Divisional Stores
officers concerned and arrange to procure from KGP provided stock is available
at KGP as per extant rules. The Stock Master will be updated by IT Centre once
in a month.
2.
Purchase of all
other materials for which restrictions
have been imposed by the competent authority from time to time will be made accordingly
as per those instructions.
